1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
2. From Home, click Networking and expand the data center.
3. Right-click the data center:
  1. Click Distributed Switch > New Distributed Switch.
  2. Update the name to BE_dvswitch and click Next.
  3. Choose Distributed switch 7.0.0 Version and click Next.
  4. Select 2 from the Uplinks menu.
  5. Select Enabled from the Network I/O Control menu.
  6. Clear the Create default port group option.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Review the details in the Ready to complete page and click Finish.
4. Right click BE_dvswitch and click Select Settings > Edit Settings.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Set MTU to 9000.
7. Set Discovery Protocol Type to Link Layer Discovery Protocol.
8. Set Discovery Protocol Operation to Both.
