OOB management connection details

  • Switch management ports and PowerEdge server iDRAC ports connect to the OOB management switch in each rack.

    For this deployment, the services host, esx-svcs01, must have an available NIC for connection to the OOB Management network. This NIC is in addition to its iDRAC port. The NIC is used for OMNI to communicate with SFS using the OOB management network. The following figure shows the connections.
