Purpose of this guide

  • This guide demonstrates the deployment of a leaf-spine fabric using SmartFabric Services at two separate sites and using the new fabric interconnect feature of SFS to stretch virtual networks between the two sites. A VMware vSAN stretched cluster is then deployed across the two sites. This deployment guide assumes the reader is familiar with traditional networking and VMware ESXi, vSAN, vCenter Server, and the vSphere Client.
