Note: There is an additional 1 GB link from the PowerFlex controller nodes to the out-of-band management switch.
We recommend a minimum of two 25 GbE interfaces for each PowerFlex node. Each PowerFlex node should connect to a dual redundant switch for network path redundancy.
There are many ways to connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, such as a direct connection or VPN between the on-premises network and AWS.
In the Dell lab environment, DDVE and Application VMs using Hypervisor (ESXi) management network are configured to provide connectivity with the public network by enabling NAT to access the Amazon S3 bucket for storing backup files for long-term retention.
