Deploying the PowerFlex Gateway

  • PowerFlex Manager supports the deployment of one PowerFlex Gateway. Perform this task to deploy the PowerFlex Gateway.

    1. From the PowerFlex Manager menu, click Templates.
    2. On the Templates page, click Add a Template.
    3. In the Add a Template wizard, click Clone an existing PowerFlex Manager template.
    4. For Category, select Sample Templates. For Template to be Cloned, select Management - PowerFlex Gateway. Click Next.
    5. On the Template Information page, provide the template name, template category, template description, firmware and software compliance, and users who have access to the service deployed from this template. Click Next.
    6. On the Additional Settings page, enter new values for the Network Settings, PowerFlex Gateway Settings, and Cluster Settings.
    7. Click Finish.
    8. After creating the template, click Templates, select the PowerFlex Gateway template, and click Edit.
    9. Edit the PowerFlex Gateway and VMware cluster, select the required field, and click Save.
    10. Publish the template and deploy the service.
