PowerStore file uses virtualized file servers that are called NAS servers. A NAS server contains the configuration, interfaces, and environmental information used to facilitate access to the file systems. This information includes services such as Domain Name System (DNS), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Network Information Service (NIS), protocols, anti-virus, NDMP, and so on.
