Hardware requirements

  • OMA hardware requirements

    The following list describes the minimal system requirements to install the Dell Plug-in for Oracle EM:

    • 1 GB RAM above and beyond the requirement for OMA
    • 2.0 GHz dual-core processor

    Note: The load on the systems is influenced by the number of devices promoted to the Plug-in. As more devices are promoted, the system will require more hardware to support a collection of expanded datasets through the Plug-in.

    Note: Dell Technologies recommends installing the Dell Plug-in for Oracle EM on a separate OMA, rather than on a system running both an OMA and an OMS.

    Client display requirements

    The Dell Plug-in for Oracle EM complies with the client requirements as defined by the Oracle EM system prerequisites. We recommend an additional client display capable of 1440x852 (8:5) or 1920x1080 (16:9) or better hardware configuration. For the best view, set the scale and layout on the operating system’s display to 100%.
