In each of the following topologies, all servers are built with a dual port 100 GbE mezzanine card. The mezzanine card can be installed in either mezzanine slot A, B, or both.
When using the 100 GbE mezzanine card, the Z9432F-ON port-group should be in unrestricted mode and the port mode set for 100g-4x. For further configuration details, see the examples in the Full Switch section in this chapter.
Single fabric
The 100 GbE single fabric topology in the following diagram shows the basic connections for up to eight MX760c server modules. Each MX760c server module has a 100 GbE mezzanine card installed in its mezzanine A slot.
This example shows Fabric A populated with two MX8116n FEM. Additional chassis can be added to the deployment using the same methodology: connecting successive chassis to the Z9432F-ON FSE pair.

Dual fabric combined fabrics
