Configure eBGP on the SmartFabric leaf switch interfaces to peer with the Tier-0 gateway on the w01 NSX edge cluster. ‎Figure 3 shows the example BGP ASNs and IP addresses and their locations. The example peer interface addresses and ASNs used here are configured on the w01 NSX Tier-0 gateway during edge cluster deployment.

To configure eBGP, do the following in the SFS UI or OMNI:

1. Select Network > Routing Configuration.

2. Expand eBGP Peer Configuration.
3. Click CREATE.
4. Enter the values from the first five columns of the first row in the table above.
5. Click CREATE to apply the settings.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each row in the table above. When complete, the eBGP table appears as shown:

Associate the eBGP policies with the leaf switches as follows:

1. Select the radio button next to the first policy, 2a-tier0-1 in this example.

2. In the right pane, select +ADD ROUTE TO SWITCH.
3. Select the applicable switch from ‎Table 6.
4. Click ADD.

When complete, the right pane appears as shown:

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the remaining rows in ‎Table 6.
