Deploy the NSX edge cluster for the management domain

  • Deploy the m01 NSX edge cluster per the VMware Cloud Foundation for VxRail Deployment Procedures on Dell Technologies SolVe Online. During deployment of the edge cluster, be sure to specify the following network settings:

    • Set the edge cluster MTU to 9000.
    • Set the Tier-0 Routing Type to eBGP.
    • Set the BGP Peer ASN to match the ASN of the SmartFabric leaf switches. This is 65011 by default.
    • Leave the BGP Peer Password fields blank. SFS does not support BGP passwords.
