In order to allow the entire solution to connect, deploy, and work properly, the communication between the on-premises components (Avamar/PowerProtect DP/Cloud DR Add-on/RecoverPoint for VMs/PowerProtect Data Manager, PowerProtect DD, vCenter), the Cloud DR Server and the cloud targets must be allowed.
Make sure that the ports being used for the communication between these components are not blocked. The complete list of required ports can be found in the security chapter in the relevant administrator guide.
When using PowerProtect Data Manager, it is important to configure an NTP server. By default, it is not mandatory to configure an NTP server in PowerProtect Data Manager, so make sure to configure at least one NTP server before starting a Cloud DR deployment.
