Architecture

  • The first step of the validation process was installing and configuring the Secureworks cybersecurity components on the Virtualized Computer Vision for Smart Transportation platform. The VDR product is responsible for processing all vulnerability scans of the system. The primary VDR onsite component is conveniently delivered as a virtual appliance. The XDR threat detection functionality was integrated by installing the Red Cloak host agent on both the physical and virtual machine hosts for the VMS and CV workloads. Both the XDR cloud gateway aggregation point for Red Cloak agents and the VDR virtual appliance were deployed as virtual machines on the same common VxRail cluster alongside the VMS and CV application VMs as shown below.
