Leave the VxRail nodes powered off until configuration is complete, as indicated in Power on VxRail nodes.
In this section, server interface profiles for the VxRail nodes are created using the Import from Fabric option available in SFS. The VxRail node interfaces are discovered by SFS using LLDP information transmitted from NICs. The VxRail nodes should remain powered off but plugged in to their power source to power the NICs. If the NICs used are unable to transmit LLDP packets in this state, the Static onboarding method must be used instead of Import from Fabric.
