zDP

  • Data Protector for z Systems (zDP) provides a granular level of protection for your mainframe data assets so that a processing error, from either malicious intent or human error, might not have an operational impact on your IT environment. zDP takes snapshots of PowerMax volumes on a single array or across multiple arrays. These snapshots provide point-in-time recovery options for both database and nondatabase systems.
