Select the settings for the management workload domain

  • The IP address range for the management workload domain is captured in the ‘Management Network row in the table in Appendix D: VxRail network configuration. The IP addresses assigned to the components in the management VI workload domain:

    • Must not be in use by another component
    • Cannot be assigned by DHCP
    • Must be a large enough subnet for all VxRail, Cloud Foundation and NSX management components

    SDDC Manager

    VxRail Manager for the cluster supporting the management domain

    Every vCenter Server deployed to support the Cloud Foundation on VxRail instance

    ESXi management on each VxRail node supporting the management domain

    NSX Manager and NSX Controllers for each NSX instance
