Home > Storage > PowerFlex > White Papers > Microsoft SQL Server Disaster Protection with Dell PowerFlex Replication > PowerFlex volume requirements
The following steps show how to setup a Microsoft SQL Server disaster recovery with PowerFlex replication:
SQL disk name | Source Cluster | Target Cluster |
Quorum Discs | 1 x 120 GB | 1 x 120 GB |
Master Data | 1 x 200 GB | 1 x 200 GB |
Logs | 1 x 176 GB | 1 x 176 GB |
TempDB | 1 x 136 GB | 1 x 136 GB |
Backup | 1 x 128 GB | 1 x 128 GB |
Note: In this configuration, OS Volume and Quorum Volumes are not a part of the replication. The Windows Failover Cluster software is running independently in both the source and target systems.
