You can use the automatic uplink detection and network loop prevention features in OME-Modular to connect multiple chassis with cables. This cabling or wiring method is called stacking. Stacking saves port usage in the data center switches and access for each chassis in the network.
While wiring a chassis, connect one network cable from each management module to the out-of-band (OOB) management switch of the data center. Ensure that both ports on the OOB management switch are enabled and are in the same network and VLAN.
