ObjectScale replication (OSR) is an eventual consistency model that provides pause and throttle replication flexibility.
OSR allows you to manage and monitor replication policies and replicate bucket data. Replication between buckets comply with the AWS S3 protocol.
Each source bucket can be configured to replicate some or all its data to one or more destination buckets. The data that is replicated from the source bucket can be replicated based on a key prefix or a tag, or both, to make replication granular. An IAM role must be selected for the source bucket account to replicate the data. On the destination bucket account, the rule can target specific destination buckets that are based on the key prefix and tag.
We recommend these considerations and guidelines for using OSR:
GET http://${S3ENDPOINT}/${bucketName}?query=ReplicationStatus==FAILED
Note: Each source bucket cannot have more than 1,000 rules and no more than four destinations, each in a different object store.
