Data Collection from PowerFlex Gateway with non-secure SSL Certificate

  • Note: This method is unsafe and not recommended.

    To configure the PowerFlex gateway to collect data through unencrypted communication (without certificate checks), you must disable the SSL check flag.

    Disable the SSL check flag by completing the following steps:

    1. Create a ‘local’ folder in TA-dell_PowerFlex folder.
    1. Update the ta_dell_PowerFlex_settings.conf and add the following statements:

    ssl_verification = 0

    http_scheme = http

    1. Restart Splunk Enterprise.
    2. Configure required number of PowerFlex gateways from Splunk GUI. See Add Systems.
