PowerFlex validation

  • To perform any operation with respect to PowerFlex, Gateway VM must be installed and accessible in the network.             

    1. Log in to the Presentation server GUI using MDM credentials, click SDCs and verify that all the overcloud and other server’s SDCs are in a connected state. All the SDCs must be able to communicate to the SDSs.
    2. Validate PowerFlex Gateway RESTFUL API.
      1. Log in to the PowerFlex Gateway GUI and select the Maintain tab.
      2. Click Test REST Configuration and enter the valid MDM IP address. The resulting output should contain information about the MDM cluster system information.

    Note: After the overcloud deployment is completed, ensure to check the REST connectivity in Gateway Server. If the REST connectivity is not successful, then ensure to update gatewayUser.properties file available in this location:/opt/emc/scaleio/gateway/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/.
