Select the settings for the management workload domain

  • The IP address range for the management workload domain is captured in the ‘Management Network row in the table in Appendix D: VxRail network configuration. The IP addresses assigned to the components in the management VI workload domain:

    • Must not be in use by another component
    • Cannot be assigned by DHCP
    • Must be a large enough subnet for all VxRail, Cloud Foundation and NSX management components
    • SDDC Manager
    • VxRail Manager for the cluster supporting the management domain
    • Every vCenter Server deployed to support the Cloud Foundation on VxRail instance
    • ESXi management on each VxRail node supporting the management domain
    • NSX Manager and NSX Controllers for each NSX instance
    • Secure Remote Services Gateway (if applicable)
    • Cloud Builder (temporary)
