ISS is one of the leaders in intelligent video solutions, with natively developed analytics. The ISS product portfolio has a wide range of analytics use cases, which address urban mobility and safe city use cases. ISS develops native analytics that are seamlessly integrated with their video management systems. While other analytics companies have similar core products, they lack their own video management software (VMS) and therefore must rely on third-party systems.

Such compute intensive workloads need high performing hardware and the right architecture to derive the best outcomes at high efficiency. The Dell Technologies portfolio of servers, storage and HCI infrastructure complements the ISS solution to create an optimal reference architecture for the video analytics solution. Based on the deployment models needed, the solution can either be deployed closer to the edge using ruggedized PowerEdge servers, such as the XR11 or XR12, or at core data centers leveraging the PowerEdge R750 server or VxRail HCI.
