Dell Enterprise customers invest in PowerEdge Server, PowerStore, PowerMax Storage arrays, and PowerConnect switches to enable infrastructure for running cutting-edge workloads. Most of these workloads have strict performance and service level requirements. Financial applications generate one category of such workloads.
The Dell Validated Design for Risk Assessment is created specifically for financial applications. The workload includes, but is not limited to, financial risk assessments, commodity pricing, fraud detection, and trading. This design uses a flexible building-block approach, in which individual building blocks can be combined to build High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, which are optimized for specific workloads and use cases.
The STAC-A2™ benchmark was used to provide recommendations for building blocks for the Dell Validated Design for Risk Assessment.
