The Dell Validated Design for Government High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data analytics are workload-optimized rack-level systems based on building block options for servers, networking, storage, and software to provide flexibility in design architecture. Given the convergence of HPC, AI, and data analytics workloads, unified architectures are presented to optimize performance on both compute centric workloads and data centric workloads. In addition, architecture optimized for traditional HPC compute centric workloads (modeling and simulation) is also presented to support dedicated compute systems. Benchmarked baseline designs serve as starting points for custom designs to meet specific customer requirements.
