Datastore creation

  • After the storage device is presented to the ESXi cluster, switch to the workload domain’s VMware vCenter client to finish provisioning the datastore.

    1. To rescan for new storage, right-click the workload vSphere Cluster, click Storage, and click Rescan Storage.

    1. Right-click the vSphere Cluster, click Storage, and click New Datastore.

    1. Complete the New Datastore wizard to create the datastore for the workload cluster.
