Home > Data Protection > Data Protection (general) > Dell Hadoop Application Agent: Hadoop Protection > DD Boost user credential setup
The DD Boost credentials must be encrypted and saved using the Hadoop credential file dlp_cfg.jceks under /credential of the installation path.
Go to the /config directory and run the following command:
./dlp-dd-config.sh -a -z ../config/dlpm-env.cfg
The dlpm-env.cfg must be configured with PowerProtect DD details prior to running this command.
The user will be prompted to enter the DDBoost account password twice to generate the password file and will be used for future backups.
