  • Dell, VMware, Intel, and NVIDIA are committed to delivering IT platforms that are both highly performant and easy to manage. We have produced a series of validated design guide releases based on engineering lab projects using real-world applications, including VMS, CV, enterprise systems security, and data science.

    Our latest demonstration of the advantage of using an outcome-driven universal platform for computer vision solutions showed that we could start with the same core hardware and management tools that are used in our previous releases and extend the capability by integrating EPIC iO edge, core, and cloud technologies for solving challenging public transportation use cases. We also demonstrated how Rugged Dell Servers can be deployed in difficult environments such as a Transportation hub. Finally, we showed how the powerful combination of Dell Technologies and the EPIC iO Artificial Intelligence and IoT (AIoT) technology allows transportation managers to:

    • Understand and react to their environment in real-time.
    • Leverage private 5G networks to ensure reliable offload of video data from vehicles.
    • Deploy rugged devices to help with data management for the entire bus fleet.
    • Protect video data all the way from the edge to the data center.

    We validated many use cases that demonstrated the ability of DeepInsights to integrate seamlessly with a private 5G Network to provide secure and reliable data transfers from the edge to the data center. We also showed how High Availability is built in to the solution to give peace of mind to IT teams managing the environment.

    The results of our validation allow us to conclude that our Dell Technologies' solution, together with the market-leading technology from EPIC iO, is:
