Solution architecture

  • This section provides an overview of the logical architecture of the PowerFlex and Azure Arc-enabled data services platform is built using a tightly integrated multi-layered setup in the lab. Each is easy to deploy, scale, manage, and maintain by platform engineers and DBAs. 

    The architecture has PowerFlex at the platform layer, ESXi hypervisor for server virtualization with VMware vSphere, and a containers layer to deploy DBaaS as self-service provisioned Azure Arc-enabled data services.
