Solution Architecture

  • This section provides an overview of the building blocks of the DBaaS platform. Infrastructure engineers and DBAs can independently deploy, scale, manage, and maintain each layer of the architecture. Software developers can use the system to rapidly create cloud-native applications that include self-service provisioning of SQL databases in a frictionless managed container ecosystem. The following figure displays the elements of the architecture that we focus on throughout the rest of the white paper.
