Abstract
The Dell PowerEdge R6715 and R6725, equipped with AMD® EPYC® 5th Generation processors, achieved a total of six TPCx-AI® world records. These records highlight Dell Technologies’ superior end-to-end AI performance and price-performance in the data center. The Dell PowerEdge R6715 and R6725’s exceptional performance makes both ideal servers for the data center.

The Dell PowerEdge R6715 and R6725, equipped with AMD® EPYC® 5th Generation processors, have set six new world records in AI training and inference. Both server configurations highlight the impressive scalability, performance, and price-performance of the Dell PowerEdge R6715 and R6725. In addition, the AMD® EPYC® 5th Generation processor is well-suited for environments where AI training and inference tasks are crucial.

We tested TPCxAI SF3 on the Dell PowerEdge R6715 single socket server with the following configuration:
- AMD® EPYC® 9355P 5th generation processors, 32C / 64T, 280W
- 12x 16GB DDR5 RDIMMS @6000MT/s (192GB)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
We tested TPCxAI SF10 on the Dell PowerEdge R6715 single socket server with the following configuration:
- AMD® EPYC® 9355 5th generation processors, 32C / 64T, 280W
- 12x 64GB DDR5 RDIMMS @6000MT/s (768GB)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
We tested TPCxAI SF30 on the Dell PowerEdge R6725 dual socket server with the following configuration:
- 2x AMD® EPYC® 9355 5th generation processors, 32C / 64T, 280W
- 24x 64GB DDR5 RDIMMS @6000MT/s (1.5TB)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
What is TPCxAI?
TPCxAI is an end-to-end AI benchmark standard developed by the TPC. This benchmark measures performance of AI training and inference and is focused on emulating the behavior of industry AI solutions that are relevant in current production data centers and cloud environments.
