Abstract
The Dell PowerEdge R6715 server, equipped with AMD® EPYC® 5th Generation processors, achieved three world records in the SPECvirt ® Datacenter 2021 benchmark for Q4 of 2024.
SPECvirt results
The following results were achieved in SPECvirt Datacenter 2021 benchmark:
- SPECvirt Datacenter 2021 benchmark 2024 Q4 Results
Platform | Overall Highest 32C | With SAN | With vSAN |
---|---|---|---|
R6715 | 3.38 per host @ 4 | 3.38 per host @ 4 | 3.354 per host @ 4 |
What do these scores mean?
The SPECvirt Datacenter 2021 benchmark results for the R6715 server, utilizing 1 CPU, demonstrates the superior performance capabilities of the new generation system. The score with vSAN indicates that the R6715 achieved a performance score of 3.354 per host when scaled to 4 hosts. On the same server, with SAN, the R6715 achieved a performance score of 3.38 per host when scaled to 4 hosts. In this case, both solutions have yielded a world record for Dell Technologies in virtualization.
About the Dell PowerEdge R6715
