This section provides an architecture overview and guidance on managing and scaling a VMware Horizon environment on 3rd Gen AMD EPYC -based VxRail and vSAN Ready Nodes.
Solution architecture
The following figure depicts an example of vSAN-based architecture. It shows the validated solution, including the network, compute and graphics, management, and storage layers. This architecture aligns with the VMware Horizon pod and block design. A pod is divided into multiple blocks. Each block is made up of one or more vSphere clusters and a vCenter Server.
