User density and graphics considerations include:
- For high-end graphics configurations with NVIDIA vWS graphics enabled, choose higher clock speeds over higher core counts. Many applications that benefit from high-end graphics are engineered with single-threaded CPU components. Higher clock speeds benefit users more in these workloads.
- For architectures with Intel Xeon scalable Ice Lake processors:
- vGPU enabled Medical Knowledge Workers—1.1 users per core. For example, 48 users with 4 vCPUs per VM on a host with 2 x 28 core processors.
- vGPU enabled Medical Knowledge Workers + AI VM—1.6 users per core. For example, 24 users with 4 vCPUs per VM and one AI VM with 32 vCPUs on a host with 2 x 28 core processors.
