By using the enterprise-grade functionality of the operating system, as described in SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro, you can use the following compute platforms as the foundation of the deployment:
To complete self-testing of hardware with the SUSE YES Certified process, download and install the relevant SUSE operating system support-pack version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and the YES test suite. Run the tests by following the instructions in the test kit. After correcting any issues that you encounter, rerun all the tests and submit the results to the SUSE Bulletin System (SBS) for audit, review, and validation.
Tip: You can verify certified systems and hypervisors through SUSE YES Certified Bulletins and use them as supported nodes for this deployment if the certification applies to the relevant version of the underlying required SUSE operating system.
Any Dell PowerEdge platform that is SUSE YES certified can be used for the nodes of this deployment if the certification covers the major version of the underlying SUSE operating system that is required by the release.
