The CSI driver for PowerFlex is a plug-in installed into Kubernetes to provide persistent storage using PowerFlex storage system. The CSI driver for PowerFlex and Kubernetes communicate using the CSI protocol. The CSI driver for PowerFlex supports dynamic and static provisioning of PV and snapshot capabilities. The Helm chart or an operator is available to install the CSI driver for Dell PowerFlex using a shell script. This script installs the CSI driver container image with its side car containers and takes care of automatically installing PowerFlex SDC on each worker node that is part of Kubernetes cluster.
