Home > Data Protection > PowerProtect DD Series Appliances > PowerProtect Appliances: Configuring and Enabling Multifactor Authentication for Local Users > Set lockout policy
We recommend that you set the lockout policy on the RSA Authentication Manager to Allow unlimited failed authentication and let the PowerProtect DD handle the lockout policy. PowerProtect DD will not be aware if the user gets locked out in the RSA Authentication Manager and will rely on the customer to unlock the user.
Go to Authentication > Policies > Lockout policies > Initial lockout > Policy > Edit, and select Allow unlimited failed authentication.
