PowerFlex CSI Driver implements an interface between CSI enabled Container Orchestrator (CO) and PowerFlex storage arrays. It is a plug-in that is installed in the Kubernetes to provide persistent storage using PowerFlex based Software Defined Storage. PowerFlex CSI driver can be installed using Helm charts and Dell CSI Helm installer or Dell CSI operator. For this implementation, the PowerFlex CSI is installed using Dell CSI operator.
