The SAP HANA hardware certification program includes specific operating system versions.
The following Enterprise Linux distribution products are certified for SAP HANA:
The product must be the version that is specified in the index page of the Certified and Supported SAP HANA Hardware Directory.
Note: Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications are recommended because of the features they include and their extended support cycles.
For information about SAP HANA support for your operating system version, see SAP Note 2235581 - SAP HANA: Supported Operating Systems (access requires SAP login credentials). Ensure that you always apply the settings that are recommended in the note.
