The following table defines terms in this document related to ACP Azure on-premises infrastructure terminology. For additional information, see Azure Stack article on host networking.

Azure Stack Network Intent | An Azure Stack Network Intent defines how a user intends to use the physical adapters in their host system. An intent has a friendly name, identifies one or more physical adapters, and includes one or more intent types. |
Management Intent | A host adapter used for management access to nodes. |
Compute Intent | A host adapter used to connect virtual machine (VM) traffic to the physical network. |
Storage Intent | A host adapter used for SMB traffic including Storage Spaces Direct. |
Fully Converged Intent | When Management, Compute, and Storage Intent are deployed and managed across all cluster nodes (See figure 3). |
APEX MC-660/MC-760 nodes | Dell APEX Multi Cloud nodes based on Dell PowerEdge R660 and R760 rackmount servers. |
