Dell ACP for Microsoft Azure is a new infrastructure platform, purpose-built collaboratively with Microsoft to optimize Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud deployments. ACP Azure provides deep integrations and intelligent automation between layers of the Dell and Microsoft technology stack, accelerating time-to-value while eliminating complexity and boosting IT agility and productivity.
Dell Cloud Platform Foundation Software and the Microsoft Azure Stack HCI operating system are key software pillars for Dell ACP for Microsoft Azure. These solutions empower customers to unlock several benefits such as key enterprise use cases in their hybrid cloud environments. Customers can also optimize the delivery of Azure cloud on-premises while ensuring consistent operational and governance experience across data centers, edge locations, and Azure public cloud.
The Azure on-premises solution has several network requirements. These include Management VLAN, Storage VLANs, Discovery VLAN, Compute VLANs, lossless network, access to IP Services (DNS or AD), and access to an external Azure Arc account.
Azure Arc is the Microsoft Cloud Azure portal that manages the Azure resource group for this on-premises cluster.
