Protocol deployment options

  • Principal and supplemental storage choices depend on the deployment platform selected for the VMware Cloud Foundation environment. The following figure illustrates the various options that can be used per workload domain.

    Note: VMFS on iSCSI, NFSv4, and NVMe/FC can only be used as supplemental storage for workload domains with supported Dell arrays.
