Bare-metal recovery (BMR), also known as offline recovery, is a disaster recovery plan that provides protection when a Windows server will not start after a catastrophic failure. System-state recovery (SSR) is a recovery plan which enables recovery when a Windows server starts but you have lost the system files and registry.
Starting with version 19.10, Dell PowerProtect Data Manager supports the file system agent to back up the disaster recovery asset and perform a disaster recovery (SSR and BMR) of a Windows host.
