When the Microsoft application agent on the Exchange Server host is installed, the required user privileges on the Exchange Server host can be configured using the App Agent Exchange Admin Configuration tool.
You can use the Data Manager Appliance UI to add a Microsoft Exchange Server application agent for data protection, approve and reject pending agent requests, and edit and delete existing agents.
After registering an application host with the Data Manager Appliance, the host appears in the Asset Sources window. When the host discovery is complete, the exchange databases are available as assets in the Assets tab as shown here:
The Microsoft Exchange Server application agent can protect Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 assets on Windows Server 2019 and 2022 Server Core deployments.
