Validate the BGP unnumbered configuration by using the commands described in the following sections.
Confirm the IP routes learned on each leaf by using the show ip route command. Repeat for each leaf switch. The show ip route command displays either all the route entries from the routing table or a specific route. If the user does not enter the VRF parameters, routes from the default VRF are displayed. The default VRF contains only the routes in the fabric underlay.
The following sections provide commands to verify virtual network configurations.
Confirm the local VXLAN interfaces and tunnel status on the leaf switch by using the show vxlan interface command. Repeat for each leaf switch.
Confirm the VXLAN Tunnel interfaces status by using the show vxlan tunnel command. In each leaf switch, there is a VXLAN tunnel between each leaf (or leaf pair). There is one VXLAN tunnel for every two VTEPS that is a VXLAN tunnel between each leaf (or leaf pair). Validate the VXLAN tunnel state to each remote leaf (or leaf pair) by using the following command:
Confirm the vxlan remote vni list by using the show vxlan remote vni command. Repeat for each switch.
Confirm the VXLAN to VNI mapping by using the show vxlan vlanvnimap command.
Confirm the non-default virtual routing function to VXLAN network identification mapping on leaf switch by using the show vxlan vrfvnimap command. Repeat for each leaf switch.
Confirm the IP VRF status by using the show ip vrf command. Repeat for each switch.
Confirm the IP routes for VRFs by using the show ip route vrf VrfTenant1 command. Repeat for each leaf switch.
Confirm the BGP IP routes by using the show ip route bgp commands. Repeat for each switch.
Confirm the EVPN status by using the show evpn command. Repeat for each switch.
Confirm the EVPN VNI detail status by using the show evpn vni detail command. Repeat for each switch.
