The Dell Technologies validated design solution can ingest visual data once and then use that data in as many ways as are needed to deliver the desired insights for any of the five outcomes.

Computer vision workflows require certain algorithms and functionality tailored to the objectives. They can be used for simple object detection, such as identifying abandoned objects in a hallway or bathroom or linking a particular item or bag to a specific person. They can also be more complex such as monitoring ramp operations and ensuring the right personnel is in a position to monitor and handle potential overcrowding situations. For retail, food, and beverage operations, workflows can leverage analytics showing how much time people spend in those areas and if more products or service people are needed. More advanced algorithms can be used to plot the most common paths through the facility before, during, and after an event.

Dell Technologies looks for best-of-breed software partners that have the capabilities to support workflows for a variety of industries. In the next section, we describe the Stadiums offering bundle from Eviden Computer Vision Platform (featuring Ipsotek VISuite). They have been assessed from both a technical and business perspective. Our lab validation process and the results of working with Ipsotek are described in later sections of this document.

Their technology leverages sophisticated algorithms and advanced analytics to provide real-time and post-event analysis of video data for mission-critical applications. Ipsotek VISuite software is designed to address a range of applications, including perimeter protection, intrusion detection, investigation and forensics, traffic management, crowd management, face recognition, and license plate recognition. Their patented scenario-based rule engine (SBRE) technology enables their systems to detect anomalies and potential threats quickly and accurately, which can help improve overall security and safety, optimize and automate operations and provide valuable business insights.
