The solution illustrated in this document provides reference architecture to deploy the Microsoft SQL Server 2019 in a containerized environment on Dell EMC PowerFlex platform in an HCI configuration with Kubernetes orchestration. In addition, it provides the best practices to configure Microsoft SQL Server 2019 on a containerized environment to meet performance, resiliency, and scale.
This solution showcases how to use PowerFlex to achieve optimum and fast database performance. The benchmark results in Test Results demonstrate TPM performance capability of Microsoft SQL Server 2019 on the PowerFlex platform. In addition, it also shows how easily it can be scaled across the PowerFlex cluster.
