This level represents a system that has advanced from automation to an early state of autonomy, where inferred decision-making has progressed to the point that it can perform most actions, making the system capable of automatic alignment. Human input is still required, through the definition of Service Level Objectives (SLOs), so we refer to this type of automation as SLO-driven automation.
