Generally, automated translators are convenient tools, but often require verification. This example uses example applications to translate the same letter into multiple languages (for example, with parameterized names for friends who speak different languages).
The NVIDIA NeMo platform provides translator models for several languages such as Chinese, English, German, Spanish, and Russian4. The following abbreviations identify each language:
- Chinese (ZH)
- French(FR)
- German (DE)
- Russian (RU)
- Spanish (ES)
The NVIDIA NeMo model file name uses these abbreviations, in which the source language precedes the target language. For example, the file name for the model to translate English to Spanish is:
en_es_24x6.nemo
You can use any of these models in our example in a Dell server environment with an NVIDIA GPU.
