For this case we compared the performance of servers in processing video streams from CCTV cameras. The test started at idle server state (no streams) and came up to 3 streams at the same time.
On average, Dell EMC PowerEdge T350 uses 14.3% less CPU than T340.
On average, Dell EMC PowerEdge T350 does I/O operations 36.1% faster than T340.
1. Collecting x, y coordinates of each person from the camera video feed and sending their recorded position as a collection to the relational database (MySQL).
2. Defining homography to map the image from a camera on the store’s layout.
3. Requesting all coordinates for a time range and projecting them on the layout.
4. Plotting heatmap using scatter density plot of requested coordinates, then aligning and mapping it on the store layout.
