Dell PowerEdge servers are designed to deliver an acoustical experience suitable for your environment and usage. Dell Technologies reports several acoustical metrics, including sound power level, sound pressure level, sound quality, and transient acoustical response.
This paper provides acoustical experience data for configurations of the PowerEdge XR4510c and XR4520c servers with the following chassis options to help customers deploy and configure their target applications and workloads:
For each option, we provide one or more representative configurations with their respective sound power levels, sound pressure levels, and prominent tones. Acoustical dependencies of key components as well as software and hardware means to affect acoustical output are also described.
Note: The acoustical data presented is for engineering purposes only and should not be considered as any form of regulatory declaration.
